Abuse is assumed before all causes are ruled out.
Authorities are contacted immediately.
The case escalates quickly and often before independent review.
Once this process begins, it is extremely difficult to stop, even when questions remain.
This isn’t isolated—and it isn’t rare.
Families across the country have experienced this process. And families in Minnesota are not immune to it. In many cases, there is no second opinion before life-altering decisions are made.
